CO2 Laser Resurfacing
FINE LINES & WRINKLES
OVERVIEW
CO2 Laser Resurfacing is one of the most effective treatments available for skin rejuvenation. Using fractional carbon dioxide laser energy, this treatment precisely removes the outermost layers of damaged or aged skin while simultaneously stimulating deep collagen production and promoting significant skin tightening. The result is dramatically smoother, more even-toned, and firmer skin. It is a gold-standard treatment for wrinkles, scars, sun damage, and textural irregularities.
KEY BENEFITS
Dramatically reduces deep wrinkles, acne scars, and sun damage
Stimulates long-lasting collagen remodeling
Improves skin tone, texture, and overall radiance
Tightens skin for a more youthful contour
Long-lasting results — often years from a single treatment
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Clients with moderate to significant skin concerns including deep wrinkles, acne scars, sun damage, uneven skin tone, or textural irregularities. Best for lighter skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–III) due to risk of pigmentation changes in darker tones.
THE PROCESS
How it works…
Consultation
A detailed skin analysis is conducted where we will then explain the expected results, downtime, and pre-treatment prep requirements.
Preparation
A skincare prep protocol (typically 2–4 weeks) including retinoids and SPF is prescribed to optimize skin health and reduce post-treatment complications.
Treatment
Topical or local anesthesia is applied for comfort. The fractional CO2 laser is passed over the treatment area, creating controlled micro-ablations. Sessions typically last 30–90 minutes.
Recovery
Expect 5–10 days of downtime. Skin will be red, swollen, and will peel as new skin regenerates. Detailed post-care instructions are provided.
Results
Visible improvement begins once healing is complete (~2 weeks), with continued collagen production improving results for 3–6 months.
