THE PROCESS
How it works…
Consultation
We evaluate your skin concerns and determines whether Laser Genesis is appropriate as a standalone or combination treatment.
Preparation
Skin is cleansed and any makeup or skincare products are removed. No topical anesthetic is typically needed as the treatment is very comfortable.
Treatment
The laser handpiece is gently moved across the skin in a circular motion. Patients feel a warm, soothing sensation. A full facial treatment takes approximately 30 minutes.
Post-treatment
Skin may appear slightly flushed immediately after, which resolves quickly. SPF is applied before leaving the office.
On-going care
Best results are achieved with a series of 4–6 initial sessions, followed by monthly maintenance treatments.
