Laser Vein Removal
EXCESSIVE SWEATING
OVERVIEW
Laser Vein Removal is a minimally invasive treatment that uses targeted laser energy to collapse and destroy unwanted spider veins and small varicose veins. The laser energy is absorbed by the hemoglobin in the blood vessel, causing it to coagulate and be naturally reabsorbed by the body over time. We also offer sclerotherapy, an effective treatment for certain types of veins, where a specialised solution is injected into the vessel to close it off and improve appearance. The result is a clearer, more even skin tone on the face, legs, and other affected areas — with no incisions and minimal downtime.
KEY BENEFITS
Effectively reduces or eliminates spider veins on face and legs
No incisions or needles — non-invasive procedure
Minimal downtime — return to most activities the same day
Improves skin tone and appearance in treated areas
Can treat associated redness and broken capillaries
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Clients with visible spider veins or broken capillaries on the face (particularly around the nose and cheeks) or legs. Best suited for those with lighter skin tones. Not appropriate for large varicose veins, which may require vascular surgical referral.
THE PROCESS
How it works…
Consultation
During the consultation we will assess the type, size, and depth of the veins to confirm laser suitability and determine the appropriate treatment settings.
Preparation
The treatment area is cleansed. Protective eyewear is provided. A cooling gel or air cooling may be applied to the skin surface.
Treatment
The laser handpiece is passed over the veins, emitting targeted pulses of light. Patients typically feel a mild stinging or heat sensation. Sessions range from 15–45 minutes depending on the area treated.
Post-treatment
Treated veins may appear darker initially before fading over 2–6 weeks. Mild redness and swelling at the treatment site are normal. Avoid sun exposure and apply SPF.
Results
Most clients see significant improvement after 1–3 sessions. Smaller veins may resolve after a single treatment. Results are long-lasting, though new veins can develop over time.
