Vitamin D Injection

PEPTIDE & VITAMIN INJECTIONS

OVERVIEW

Vitamin D is essential for bone health, immune function, mood regulation, and metabolic processes throughout the body — yet deficiency is extremely common, particularly in Northern climates like New England where sun exposure is limited for much of the year. A Vitamin D injection delivers a high-dose, pharmaceutical-grade form of Vitamin D directly into the muscle, rapidly correcting deficiency and restoring healthy levels. Unlike oral supplements, which rely on digestive absorption, intramuscular Vitamin D bypasses the gut entirely, making it significantly more effective for those with absorption issues or severe deficiency. Effects can last weeks to months from a single injection.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Rapidly corrects Vitamin D deficiency with a single injection

  • Supports bone density and reduces risk of osteoporosis

  • Boosts immune function and helps the body fight infections

  • Improves mood, reduces fatigue, and supports mental wellbeing

  • Long-lasting effects — a single injection can sustain levels for weeks to months

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Individuals with confirmed or suspected Vitamin D deficiency — common in those who spend limited time outdoors, live in northern latitudes (like New England), have darker skin tones, digestive absorption issues, or are older adults. Also beneficial for anyone wanting to proactively support bone health, immunity, and energy.

THE PROCESS

How it works…

Consultation

During the consultation we orders a 25-hydroxyvitamin D blood test to confirm your current levels and determine the appropriate injection dose to safely and effectively restore deficiency.

Preparation

The intramuscular injection site (typically the gluteal or deltoid muscle) is cleansed and prepped.

Injection

Vitamin D is administered as a quick intramuscular injection. The session takes under 5 minutes and is well tolerated.

Post-treatment

No downtime required. Mild soreness at the injection site may occur for 1–2 days. Energy and mood improvements may be felt within days to weeks.

Frequency

A follow-up blood test is recommended at 8–12 weeks to confirm that levels have reached the optimal range. Maintenance injections or oral supplementation may be advised going forward.
